The aim of this initiative is to keep taxpayers informed about good practices at local, regional and EU level, highlighting the work of local authorities. This will improve cooperation and information exchange between municipalities in the EU and contribute to the socio-economic development of regions and cities. The portal is dynamic and open to all EU municipalities wishing to join, regardless of their size. Local governments will have access to a direct channel through which they can inform citizens of their recent achievements and promote interesting projects in line with shared European values. The portal is managed by the association EuroAdvance, which is behind the initiative. It is a non-profit organisation that offers EU municipalities and visitors a free experience.
