This event will provide an exclusive insight into the Launch and Recovery team, and an exciting new approach that we are trialling to adopt a Platform Management approach to our assets.

The RNLI Launch & Recovery Engineering team are responsible for the design and technical support of over 1500 pieces of equipment that ensure Lifeboats are safely launched and recovered. This is vital to enable the RNLI to operate its lifesaving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland.

In this presentation, John will provide an overview of the team and the equipment that they are responsible for as well as giving an exclusive insight into the platform management trial that he has led to explore this new way of working.
