About this Event
Community Link Workers are based in GP practices in Scotland. They support people with a variety of social, financial, mental health and practical issues. This gives GPs and nursing staff more time to deal with medical issues.
In this session we'll hear from Voluntary Health Scotland about Community Link Workers and what they do, as well as directly from Community Link Workers in Glasgow and North Ayrshire, who will talk about how they help people. This might suggest some practical ways that you could help people with their money worries, through an understanding of how they make connections and identify the best possible solution for their clients.
You’ll have a chance to put your questions to our speakers during this event.
