EUROPEAN WEEK OF REGIONS AND CITIES 2021 LAUNCHED

Last updated: 05 Jul 2021
The 19th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities will take place from 11th to 14th October 2021. Call for side events open!

The 19th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities will take place from 11th to 14th October 2021. As in 2020, EWRC will be a digital event. The launch event took place on 19th January for all organisations interested in being associated with the week this year.  Preparations are underway between UDITE and VEOLIA (our business partner) to play a prominent role in this year’s event.  Under the slogan “Together for recovery”, the #EURegionsWeek 2021 will be centred on four topics:

  • Green Transition: for a sustainable and green recovery

  • Cohesion: from emergency to resilience

  • Digital Transition: for people

  • Citizens' engagement: for an inclusive, participative and fair recovery

Would you like to organise a side event of the #EURegionsWeek 2021?

Side events should relate to the thematic priorities of the #EURegionsWeek 2021 and must be organised digitally between 11 October and 11 November 2021 as part of a dedicated programme with this year's priority to contribute to the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE). Side events' organisers are entirely responsible for the content and organisation of their event.

The online application is available on the "Side events"- section of the event website and must be submitted by 3 September 2021 at the latest.

For detailed information and requirements on how to organise a side event, please read the Call for side events 2021. Only a limited number of side event applications will be selected.

If you have suggestions for workshop themes please get in touch with Simon (simon@udite.eu)
