Getting to León

By car

Driving by car from Bordeaux (for example) takes around 6 hours 30 minutes.  Taking the A63 motorway to the border Spanish border you join the AP-8 at Behobia. You continue on until Errenteria taking the AP-1 South West around Donastia San Sebastian rejoining the AP-8 after the city. Staying on the AP-1 all the way to Burgos. From Burgos take the AP-231 all the way to León.

By train

From Madrid Chamartin Train Station there are direct servides with 4 stops to León. Madrid Barajas Airport in 55 minutes from the main railway station.

By plane

Aeropueto de León is served by mainly internal flights from destinations throughout Spain including Mardrid and Barcelona. 

If you arrive in Madrid Barajas Airport you can change to the mainline train serves incated above by taking public transport (metro) from the airport to the main Madrid Chamartin Train Station
