Our ambition is to be the premier professional association for general managers across European local government.
L'UDiTE has a project to develop a programme which reflects and supports the career path of a local manager, from their very first job towards becoming a Chief Executive.
We are in the process of developing a system of pan-European accreditation for local government managers which encapsulates the skills needed, irrespective of the country you work in, to be an effective manager. We have submitted a bid to the Leonardo da Vinci Funding under the Lifelong Learning Programme 2007/2013.
