Meeting our Colleagues

The Association of city managers of the municipal offices Czech Republic (STMOÚ) held its Annual General Meeting in Kladno, on 18 May 2009 as a part of a city managers’ workshop program.

Following a personal invitation to attend the general assembly Byron Davies, President of UDiTE, accepted the opportunity to discuss the challenges that local governments currently face and the benefits of working together through UDiTE.

Other speakers at the event included Ing.Oldrich Vlasák, member of the European Parliament, the Executive President of CEMR, and the President of the Association of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic and Jaromír Zajícek, the President of STMOÚ Czech Republic, who was delighted that UDiTE was planning to work more closely with the association in the future.
